NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (HOVETON) (URGENT NOTICE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2020
Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to a new
water main connection the use by vehicles of the A1062 Horning Road from 300m
east of U19246 Church Road to a point 400m in an easterly direction in the PARISH OF HOVETON will be temporarily prohibited from 31 st March 2020 to 2 nd April 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 3 days within the period. If
necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 5 days.

Alternative route is via: A1062 Horning Road/ Ropes Hill/ Norwich Road/ Yarmouth
Road/ Ludham Road/ Station Road, A149 Yarmouth Road/ Bypass/ Yarmouth Road/
Wayford Road/ Norwich Road/ Stalham Road, A1062 Horning Road (Hoveton/
Horning/ Ludham/ Potter Heigham/ Catfield/ Sutton/ Stalham/ Smallburgh/
Ashmanhaugh).
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on
site in advance.
